Variety info :- Laska , Prawn Laska

I am originally from Katpadi , living here in Thailand for the past 10 years . I trying to make some fusion recipes combining both Thai and Indian especially Tamil recipes. I plan to start a restaurent in Bangkok. If everything goes well in two years time I will be a restaurent owner.

Until then I will be posting some of my tried and tested by easy to cook Thai recipes

Ingredients

 

Coconut milk  - 400g

Vermicelli rice noodles – 50g

Canned Bamboo shoots drained and rinsed – 200g

Spring Onions Chopped – 3

Fish Sauce – 2 Tablespoon

Brown sugar – 1 teaspoon

Fresh basil – 5

Unshelled cooked prawns – 15

Vegetable stock – 250ml

Pepper deseeded -1

Thai red curry paste – 1 Tablespoon

 

 

Method

 

Boil coconut milk and vegetable stock in

low flame . Add noodle and other ingredients except the cooked prawn and simmer until the noodles are cooked. Add the prawn and simmer for 5 minutes . It is ready to serve.
